Like the works of Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres and Jean-Léon Gérôme, Fung's scenes entice with nude women reclining among porcelain vessels. However, closer inspection reveals stray knives, impaled fruit and dismembered limbs; the mirage dematerializes.
